Welcome
Kidderminster is growing and these proposals for ‘Woven Oaks’ on land to the east of the town provide an opportunity for well-planned, sustainable growth.
Woven Oaks is a proposal for a new community built around healthy living, green space, local services and strong connections.
Now coming forward as a planning application on land to the north of Comberton Road which is identified in the emerging Wyre Forest District Council Local Plan, the ambition is for a sustainable extension to east Kidderminster with key links back into the town while being a distinctive place in its own right.
Including a doctor’s surgery, a new community hall, a primary school and extensive green space, Woven Oaks would provide approximately 1,400 new homes within a carefully considered masterplan setting.
It is a solution to meet local housing needs which balances new homes with healthy placemaking principles.
You can find out more about the proposals on this website and take part in our consultation.
